The freckles girl

I was just having a chat with aunt. Coincidentally, I saw her and uncle Jimmy shopping in ION orchard last sunday. She noticed a spot on my cheek, and called to ask what is that spot doing on my cheek. I explained that I'm having freckles on both of my cheeks and nose bridge. Its being described as join-the-dots face. I didn't want them to stay put on my cheeks either, but I couldn't do anything to prevent it. I was told to apply sunblock everyday. Even if I'm staying at home, its still advisable to apply a layer of sunblock. The sun is really damaging. Nonetheless, I will still go swimming as often as I can. I tend to feel sick when I'm not exposed to the sun for a period of time. I need my frequent dose of Vitamin D!!

Upon ending the conversation, I promised aunt that I'll start applying sunblock daily, and I truely hope that I'll be consistent throughout.

I've been working full time for a consecutive 9 days straight without any rest day!! Ain it sad? Line issues, sample making, projects, blah blah blah.. Work is piling up day by day and I have only a pair of hands. Whatever it is, I can only do my best. Whether or not, I am able to clear the pile, I just have my reserves that pile will ever decrease. I'm so darn darn busy everyday, time seem to pass by so fast that its already the end of the day before I realize it. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? I always feel that the most difficult thing to do in office is to stay awake without doing anything.

I have made mistakes during work, be it small or big mistakes. I just have the tendency to do things not in the right way. Feeling really bad about it. But I guess, learning through mistakes is also a good way to make sure that its deep-rooted in your head. The only thing I like about working here is the colleagues I have with me. When I was feeling down and demoralised, they'll cheer me up with whatever they could think of. Singing and mimicking in the line, saying jokes and being lame. Really appreciate it.

Attended a 2-days training, was thinking that I could escape and relax for 2 days, but it turned out to be exactly the opposite. Shit man! Work actually starts right after the training and end up leaving as late as the shift techs. I get to work alot with the people in the line as most of the time I hafta be in the line to learn the process and operations. Thus, my friends in the line are all the techs. They are actually quite fun people, its nice getting along with them. Initially when I just came, they were well-behaved and very ke qi towards me. But now, things are a hellout of difference. Its quite nice to be in the line, you get to learn more with the techs, having lil chats on and off, and most of all having a peaceful mind. The only bad thing is when you mix too much with them, you tend to talk like them. And when you talk like them, people will ask you question like "You M'sian?" *Roll eyes*

If I see you, I'm not obliged to talk to you. If I dun talk to you means I have nothing to inform you. If I talk to him means I have things to let him know. If I only talk to him, means I get to work alot with him. Lastly, if I wanna chat, I will chat with people whom i know better.

First post of the year

My goodness.. this really looks like an abandoned blog. The last update was actually months ago!

Been busy with work, especially after I've taken over this position on my own. There's so much to do, so much to learn and so much to report. Hardly do I have time for myself. Now, I really appreciate every moment of my weekends. Be it to meet up with friends, going for retail therapy or going town to people-watch.

I've been working in Pana for almost 3 months, still under probation thou. The location is quite near my place, the working environment is alright, the colleagues are great. BUT there's bound to be some imperfection within all good stuff. Shall not mention anything negative here. I have a mentor, KH, the reason I'm being employed is because I'm taking over his position as he's transferring to another dept. In our office, there are engineers and engineer assistants. On the whole, we could work quite well together.

Basically I'm in charged of one of the front line process. And YES, I'm the only ONE person responsible for that process. There wasn't any EA assigned to me. sianzZ.. However, I'm still quite lucky because the people in the line were very helpful towards me. In the line, there are technicians and senior technicians, most of them are Malaysians, some of them are really young, even younger than me! I guess maybe there ain any huge age gap between us that made me click well with them.

On the whole, I'm treating everyday as training day, still doing fine in this new environment.

Christmas '09 was great! We had a privatised party at Lin' residence. Food was nice and A LOT! That turkey was huge! After X'mas dinner, we had our gifts exchange and followed by a night full of games. But I fell asleep halfway thou :P On Christmas day itself, there's a party over at Mommy's house. Spent the whole day playing with the kids. Baby Gianna is really really really cute!!! Love her so so much!

So what about new year's eve?? There must be some party going on right??? The answer is NO! There isn't any party plans and even if there is, its as good as having none. WHY is that so??

BECAUSE I WAS BEING CALLED BACK TO WORK AT NIGHT!!!

Due to some delivery problems os whatever it is, I wasn't given a choice but to get back to work on the first night of the year. The other unlucky guy suffering the same plight is Pung. Both of us were actually unwilling to go back, but we didn't have a choice. We were not used to night shift, when sleeping time comes, we became CUI. We tried chit chatting to stay awake, luckily he's quite chat-able and we could work quite well together.

TO THINK I'M SPENDING NEW YEAR DAY AT WORK!
